14-year-old allegedly sodomized by dentist

PATNA: A 14-year-old boy was allegedly sodomized by a dentist at the latter’s residence located at Biscaumaun colony under Alamganj police station in the state capital on Monday night.
The dentist was identified as Amitabh Tiwary (42), who runs a dental clinic in Kankarbagh area in Patna.
Police sources said that the boy is a class-IX student of a private school in the Patna City area.The boy’s father, who is an electrician by profession, has lodged a named FIR against Tiwary in connection with the incident with the Alamganj police station on Tuesday.
Patna SSP Manu Maharaaj said that investigation were going on after which the doctor would be arrested.
Sources said that the boy along with his parents was living on rent at the doctor’s residence in the Biscaumaun colony for last few years.
“The family had went outside Patna four days back leaving the boy alone. The doctor kept the boy with himself for the said period. While the boy along with his parents used to live on the ground floor in the house, the doctor was living on the first floor,” sources said.
They said that on Monday night, the boy as usual like previous days, went upstairs to sleep when the doctor called him inside his bedroom and allegedly sodomized him. Police sources also said that investigations were on to know if anyone else was at home along with the doctor or not.
The boy’s parents returned on Tuesday morning after which he narrated the incident to them following which parents contacted police.
Sources said that the boy’s medical test was conducted on Tuesday and his statement was also recorded in which he narrated the entire incident.
